Sony has announced a Limited Edition Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain PS4 bundle for the game’s launch.
Ahead of the Metal Gear Solid 5 release date later this year, Sony has announced a themed limited edition PS4 bundle for the game.
The Limited Edition Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain PS4 bundle will be available in the UK on September 1, 2015.
That’s the same date as Metal Gear Solid 5 is released, so you’ll be able to get the themed PS4 on the same day if you so wish.
The limited edition bundle comes with a 500GB PS4 console and DualShock 4, both kitted out in a special Metal Gear Solid 5 design.
You’ll also get the Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain Day 1 Edition software.
The limited edition PS4 itself comes in a deep red colour with gold line detailing, which is apparently inspired by Snake’s Bionic Arm.
As for the DualShock 4, it’s a metallic grey colour, resembling Snake’s handgun.

If you don’t want to fork out for the limited edition bundle, there’s also a Metal Gear Solid 5 bundle with a 500GB Jet Black PS4 on offer.
Still no word on that 1TB model though, so maybe we’ll just wait for E3 2015 on that one.
