LG announces flexible OLED TVs
LG has confirmed it is launching flexible OLED TVs later this year.
Strengthening its range of OLED televisions, LG has revealed during its CES 2015 press conference that it will release flexible OLED TV sets in 2015.
The LG OLED range will be extended with seven new OLED sets, all with 4K UHD resolution.
LG is the TV pioneer for curved OLED TVs and now the company is pushing the bar by offering one 77-inch OLED TV sets that can change its shape at the touch of a button.
“LG’s commitment to OLED, the investment, the resources, the energy, the creative thinking that we’re putting into it, boils down to one bottom point,” explained Tim Alessi, head of new product development at LG US.
“OLED is, quite simply, the best TV ever, and the future of television. LG is the only company that is able to put OLED into people’s hands today.”
There’s no word on pricing for the 77-inch flexible OLED TV at the moment, or when we can expect it to come to market.

As for the other LG OLED TVs for 2015, you can expected six others to hit the market before the year is out.
Again, there’s no pricing or UK model number for these TVs yet, but they come in screen sizes of 55-inch, 65-inch and 77-inch in both flat and curved options.
