Many smartphone fans have been hoping to see a phone that runs a full version of Windows 10 for some time now, and it seems we’ve just got a look at a new handset that does just that – though whether it will ever launch remains unclear.
Evan Blass, aka @evleaks, shared the following images, which some have said could be Microsoft’s long-rumoured Surface Phone, while other reports claim it’s a Dell device that runs full Windows 10.

There’s no way to know if the images shared by Blass are the Surface Phone, but Thurrott claims it is a Dell-made device that uses Intel processors to run a full version of Windows 10, citing ‘sources familiar with the phone”.
However, the report also states that Intel scrapped development on the silicon that would have been used to power the handset, so it seems we’re unlikely to see this phone in the flesh any time soon.
That said, Blass has ‘confirmed’ to The Verge’s Tom Warren that the phone in question is “much more than a concept”, and shared some shots of the device being used in the real world.
Just what we’re looking at here, and whether it will be released remains unclear, for now then, but it whatever the case, we’re sure it won’t be long until a full Windows 10 phone arrives in some form.
While the images from Blass might not show the Surface Phone, the device is yet to be officially identified, so watch this space for more in the near future.
