It’s lovely how gaming can be bring people together sometimes, regardless of the circumstances. 343 Industries has done just that, paying a tear-jerking tribute to a grieving fan.
Halo player Adam Bartels tragically lost his two teenage daughters, Trinity, 15 and Lena, 12, in a sudden electrical fire at his family home in Wisconsin, United States.
After his situation was picked up by r/Halo on Reddit, 343 Industries quickly took notice.

343 Industries has created the Spartans Never Walk Alone Pack in loving of honour of Adam’s family and his daughters.
The new pack contains the True Light Emblem, which will be the first animated emblem to come to Halo 5: Guardians.
Picturing a beautiful starlit sky, the emblem is named after the first initial of each of Adam’s daughters.
The emblem will be available as part of Halo 5’s free monthly update.
“As a father, I can only imagine the heartache and pain caused by this loss. In the days following the tragedy, it was inspiring to see the Halo community come together to support Adam and Rebecca in a variety of ways.”
343 has also added a unique new feature in the Torgue arena map:
“As players look up and scan the stars above, the names Trinity and Lena will be visible in the night sky. These are but small gestures meant to honour Adam’s daughters, ensuring that their memories are always close at hand within the universe he loves.”
There is currently a gofundme page set up to if you wish to donate to Adam and his family.
