GTA 5 Xbox One pre-downloads kick off

GTA 5 is going next-gen in the coming days, but Xbox One owners are already available to pre-download the eagerly awaited game.
Having originally launched last year as a PS3 and Xbox 360 exclusive, Rockstar’s open-world epic will finally make its bow for PS4 and Xbox One gamers next Tuesday, November 18.
For those who simply can’t wait a single second longer than necessary, however,
If you’re not familiar with the concept of pre-downloading, it allows gamers to download titles in their entirety onto their console ahead of launch. Although stored on their machines, the game is not unlocked for play until its day of release.
As well as letting you avoid long nights queuing outside your local Game store in the winter drizzle, pre-downloads let you wrap your gamepads around the new release the second it goes on sale – handy.
With GTA 5 PS4 pre-orders also currently live, the Xbox One pre-downloads can be snapped up for £54.99.
This premium price tag secures you not only a digital copy of the game, by $1,000,000 worth of in-game cash for use across both the GTA 5 world and GTA 5 Online platform.
Although a GTA 5 Xbox One and PS4 release has been confirmed for next week, the game will not be available to PC gamers until the New Year.
