GTA 5 PS4 listed by online retailer

Rockstar Games could be working on a next-generation PS4 and Xbox One version of GTA 5 according to one online retailer.
A Portuguese online retailer called Worgen has launched a paid pre-order page for the PS4 GTA 5 game.
Sadly, the Portuguese site failed to give a release date, but when asked by directly, the site only explained that “we have the information that Worgen stores will sell the game in question”.
Both an Xbox One and PS4 version of GTA 5 were listed on Amazon Germany at the tail end of last year, complete with next-gen box art. However, the images were removed but seeing as Amazon is a fairly creditable source there was thought to be an ounce of truth to the listing.
Rockstar Games suggested just prior to the GTA 5 release date that there could be a next-gen version of the game, if it became an “appropriate business opportunity”.
“We are a third-party publisher. We’re not Nintendo, we’re not Sony, we’re not Microsoft. We love all of them in different ways. But we can do what we want wherever there’s the appropriate business opportunity and chance to find a market”, explained Rockstar VP Dan Houser.
“We’ll get the current gen version out first and see what happens in the future,” said Leslie Benzies, President of Rockstar North when questioned. “We already have plans for what the next world holds in terms of missions, new content, clothes, apartments, for the next while.”
