The Grand Tour Season 2: Watch online for free

It’s back! The Grand Tour season 2 has officially been released on Amazon Prime – and we’ve got all the details of how to watch the Grand Tour season 2 online via Amazon Prime Video. Here’s how to catch the latest exploits of former Top Gear trio Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May – and best of all, a cheeky trick to enjoy all the action for free.

The Grand Tour is the spiritual successor to the immensely popular Top Gear car series. It features the same presenting group and heavyweight line-up of cars, but is now shown via Amazon’s Prime Video streaming service – not on the BBC.

The first episode of the Grand Tour season 2 sees everyone’s favourite band of petrolheads hit Switzerland, where they drive a Lamborghini Aventador S, a Honda NSX and an all-electric Croatian supercar called the Rimac Concept One. Plus, original Baywatch buff David Hasselhoff features in the brand new Celebrity Face Off Challenge.

It really does sound like bigger, better and even brasher things await.

As we’ve said, Amazon Prime Video is the only place to watch this show, which means you’ll need to pay to watch The Grand Tour online.

Or do you?

Amazon actually offers a free 30-day trial of its popular Prime subscription service, which nets you full access to the Prime Video catalogue, as well as benefits like unlimited free one-day deliveries from the online shopping behemoth.

It’s pretty much chain-free, though you will have to cancel your subscription before the trial period expires, should you not want to cough up the relatively modest £7.99 monthly fee.

After that, all you need to do is navigate to Amazon’s dedicated Grand Tour page and you’re away.

Prime Video also has a number of standalone apps, so whether you’ve got a Smart TV or an Android tablet, it’ll be plain sailing. Check out Amazon’s full Prime Video compatibility guide here, but trust us – nearly all current devices and platforms are covered.

New episodes are released weekly, so you won’t have to wait long for your next Grand Tour fix. If you’re still unsure, feast your peepers on this Grand Tour season 2 trailer.
