Generosity is Indiegogo’s new charity site
Indiegogo’s charity section Indiegogo Life is to be rebranded as ‘Generosity by Indiegogo’.
The crowdfunding site introduced its charitable section 10 months ago and are now relaunching it at the new Generosity.com domain.
Generosity will work in the same way as Indiegogo Life and will allow people to set up fundraising campaigns for social causes without being charged fees or deadlines.
Processing fees of 3% and 30 cents on each donation will still apply to projects on Generosity.com however.
Users can raise money for themselves or others and can support different types of causes from medical fees to tuition costs.

Unlike its predecessor however, Generosity will allow both individuals and nonprofit organisations to set up fundraisers.
Upon launch, the site will feature four new campaigns including one to help Syrian refugees and another to support STEM education for girls.
The site launches today and all pages from Indiegogo Life will be moved across to the new domain.
