Free coffee and travel for Mastercard users with Android Pay

Google and Mastercard have teamed up to give Android Pay users free travel around London, and free coffee across the UK.
The transport deal, which is only available in London, takes place across the four Mondays in October. If you have a Mastercard equipped to your Android Pay and use it travel, you can get the costs refunded. Simply use your Android device to touch in or out on the transport network and Mastercard will refund the fare – up to £30.50 a day.

What’s more, you’ll also be eligible for a free coffee from Caffè Nero nationwide on October Mondays too. Just load Mastercard onto your Android Pay and use it to purchase your coffee on any of the Mondays.

Here’s what Mark Barnett, president of MasterCard UK & Ireland had to say on the deal:
“Our ‘fare free’ days across London’s transport network have been a big hit with our cardholders, but we wanted to go one step further. By also offering a free coffee at Caffè Nero, we hope that the Monday morning commute becomes a little more enjoyable in more ways than one.”
