Forget predictive text, Swiftmoji will help you to pick the perfect emoji

The maker of the popular SwiftKey mobile keyboard is building a new app that’ll help users select the perfect emoji.

The Swiftmoji keyboard, currently in beta on Android, will take predictive text one step further by serving up suggested emojis.

The Microsoft-owned platform will offer these emojis in a row, much like how the current offering predicts words you may like to use, based on other words typed.

As a result Swiftmoji is promising faster access to emojis, reminders of emoji you may have forgotten existed (via TechCrunch).

With the keyboard there’ll also be no need to switch to the emoji keyboard in order to access your favourite smileys.

Swiftmoji is available in public beta from Google Play, but you’ll need to opt in if you want to take it for a spin.

SwiftKey was purchased by Microsoft earlier this year for a whopping $250 million.
