Disney Movies Anywhere links up with Amazon Instant Video and Microsoft Video

Disney’s cloud-based digital movie service, Disney Movies Anywhere, has linked up with Amazon Instant Video and Microsoft Video.
In a move that’s been perfectly timed to coincide with the digital release of Avengers: Age of Ultron, US Amazon and Microsoft customers can now connect to the Disney Movies Anywhere service.
This means that they’ll be able to access any digitally owned Disney movies through the Amazon Instant Video and Microsoft Video services.
As well as watching Disney content through the Disney Movies Anywhere app for Amazon’s Fire tablets, Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, it’s also now possible for US customers to watch them directly through the Amazon Video app. They can also watch your Disney movies online at Amazon.com.
On the Microsoft front, you have the Microsoft Movies and TV service on Windows and Microsoft Xbox devices as well as the company’s web-based video service.

Disney has also announced that the Disney Movies Anywhere app will be coming to Roku and Android TV customers from September 15. It already works with iTunes and Google Play.
If you wanted another incentive to link those accounts, you’ll get a free copy of Monsters Inc. if you do. The offer’s only available for a limited time, though.
