Destiny gamers to get “legendary” surprise this week, says Bungie

Bungie has revealed that Destiny gamers are getting a “small but legendary” surprise this week.

Speaking on the official Bungie twitter feed, the developer has promise Destiny gamers a special reward for their loyalty.

The tweet reads: “A small, but Legendary token of gratitude is being prepped or delivery later this week. We’ll let you know when to check the Postmaster.”

Bungie is keeping quiet on what exactly this “Legendary” reward will entail, so you’ll have to wait until later this week to find out what it has in store for you.

However, Reddit forums have already started speculating as to what the reward may be.

One user, JGP793, is convinced the reward will be a new Ghost shell “because he’s small”, but arguably pretty legendary.

But, others believe that it will be the legendary Sparrow EV-32 Snowblind.

That’s a claim not pulled out of thin air either. During the Halloween Destiny update, Bungie added a new Sparrow to the game files, which was referred to as the Snowflake Sparrow.

The members of the official Destiny forum also believe it will be the EV-32 Snowflake Sparrow.

That’s because the Sparrow may well become the special Christmas gift Bungie promised to release in December.

However, following the Christmas period issues Sony and Microsoft had with the Lizard PSN and Xbox Live hacks, Bungie subsequently delayed the holiday gifts until January.

“Holiday gifts are scheduled for delivery in January,” tweeted David “DeeJ” Dague, Bungie Community Manager. “No-one I s missing out on the Cryptarch’s good cheer.”
