Cowin Ark is a portable Bluetooth speaker with detachable subwoofer
When you buy a speaker, there’s inevitably a trade-off: do you go for something that packs plenty of bass but is so big it has to stay in your home, or something portable that lacks any oomph? This speaker combines the best of both worlds.
It’s called the Cowin Ark, and it consists of two parts: a Bluetooth sound bar-style speaker and a detachable subwoofer. That means
You can join them together or spread them out while still having them work in unison. You can also daisy chain more of the firm’s Bass Station subwoofers to give your sound even more grunt.
It uses the firm’s Magnatec wireless charging tech, so you can juice up your smartphone or Ark speaker just by placing it on top of the subwoofer.
The speaker includes two speaker drivers and passive radiators. It lasts eight hours on a full charge. The Bass Station is powered by the mains, and contains a 3.5-inch subwoofer.
