Castle Crashers Remastered available on Xbox One this week

An enhanced version of Castle Crashers will be available for download on Xbox One this week

astle Crashers Remastered is coming to Xbox One, developer Behemoth has announced.
Originally released in 2008 for the Xbox 360, Castle Crashers Remastered will bring a range of technical and graphical improvements to the title.
These improvements include a 60fps framerate and textures that are said to be five times larger than those used in the original game.
Players can also look forward to a number of “performance updates” and “gameplay tweaks” that will provide a smoother and more fun experience.
Developer The Behemoth has also claimed that finding online games will be “easier and quicker” than ever before.
Castle Crashers Remastered will come bundled with an all new mini-game called Back off Barbarian.
The remaster will be available for free to those who owned the 360 version up until September 20, after this date it will instead be available at a discounted price.

In addition, the original Castle Crashers will soon be available to download through the Xbox One’s backwards compatibility feature.
There are no details on when this will become available however, or if it will be via the Preview Program or elsewhere.
Castle Crashers originally launched in 2008 for the Xbox 360 and eventually moved over to the PS3 and PC.
The remastered edition has only been announced for Xbox One so far.
Castle Crashers Remastered will be available to download on September 9.
