BMW X4 2019 delivers a sportier look and a massive heads-up display

Is it a Sports Activity Coupe, as the German automaker likes to say? Or a Sports Utility Vehicle? Whatever you want to call it, the 2019 BMW is absolutely stunning.
BMW has officially unveiled the second-generation SAC, which has a lower, longer and wider profile that gives off a sportier aura than its predecessor.
The new design also features a 10% reduction in aerodynamic drag, while the lower centre of gravity makes for more dynamic cornering.
However, the key upgrade is the safety system, which now comes as standard. The Active Protection technology is designed to respond when an accident may be unavoidable. It’ll tighten the seatbelts, while closing the windows and moonroof so only a small gap remains.
BMW is also including the Active Guard technology, which includes Frontal Collison Warning, Automatic City Collision Mitigation and Braking including Daytime Pedestrian Detection, and Speed Limit Information.

The 2019 models also feature a 75% larger heads-up display, which provides critical information within the driver’s line of vision.
There’s also a 10.25-inch touchscreen display with voice controlled infotainment, along with standard navigation, a larger panoramic moonroof and 3-zone climate control.

It’s also got it where it counts, with the Performance Model rocking an inline six-cylinder engine.
“The engines under the hood of BMW M Performance Automobiles stand out with their instantaneous response and tireless power delivery. With its trademark free-revving performance, maximum output of 355 hp and peak torque of 365 lb-ft, the power unit in the all-new BMW X4 M40i enables it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds,” the company boasts.
