Battlefield Hardline multiplayer beta to start February 3
EA Games has revealed the Battlefield Hardline multiplayer beta is set for February 3 – 8 on all platforms.
The open multiplayer beta will run from Tuesday, February 3 to Sunday, February 8.
It will be available for all players on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and via Origin on PC.
“There’s nothing more valuable to our team than the relationship we have with our community,” said Steve Papoutsis, GM of Visceral Games and Executive Producer on Battlefield Hardline. “Their passion feeds our passion and their feedback has definitely helped make Hardline a better game.”
The open beta will feature three different maps and two different modes, both highlighting the cops vs robbers theme of Battlefield Hardline.
You’ll be able to play the Hotwire mode on the Downtown and Dustbowl maps. This mode features high-speed car chases, where the criminals must try and steal a set of marked cars and the cops try to repossess them.

Finally, the open multiplayer beta will also give you a first look at the new Heist mode coming to Battlefield Hardline.
You’ll be able to play the Heist Mode on the new Bank Job map. As the criminals you’ll have to try and break into a bank vault, get the look and secure their swag at a specific drop off point. While as the police, you’ll need to work together to stop the criminals.
This is the second open multiplayer beta for Battlefield Hardline, the first of which caused developer Visceral Games to delay the title due to the sheer amount of feedback it received from players.
The Battlefield Hardline release date is March 20, and it will be available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4 and PS3.
