Alongside next-day delivery and a multitude of streaming options, Amazon Prime membership entitles Brits to plenty of lesser known benefits. You may not know about the opportunity to save 20% on nappy subscriptions, for example.
However, the latest niche perk is a little more luxurious. Through Prime Now, Amazon is offering the chance for the UK Prime members to order a free test drive of a Volvo V40 hatchback.
By entering their postcode, members can pick a time and a date during any weekend in June and July and a Volvo specialist will deliver the car to their door (via Gizmodo UK).
The scheme is open to drivers in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh and each test drive lasts 45 minutes. Whether this will be a part of the service moving forward, or just a short term promotion remains to be seen.

However, if Amazon were to expand beyond the Volvo V40 and began facilitating test drives for a variety of manufacturers and models, it’d become a very valuable perk for car shoppers looking for convenience.
Given a US-matching Prime price increase could be incoming very soon, we wouldn’t be surprised to see Amazon further boost benefits for UK members in the near future.
