Ace Attorney 6 is in development and it’s coming to the UK

Publisher Capcom has confirmed that Ace Attorney 6 is officially in development.
Announced in Japanese gaming magazine, Famitsu, Ace Attorney 6 will be playable during the Tokyo Games Show later this month.
Kotaku has since translated the original Famitsu story, which claims that the sixth installment in the courtroom series will feature new systems to “enable quicker gameplay,” though there are no specific details as of yet.
According to newly released information, the theme of Ace Attorney 6 will be a “courtroom revolution.”
Veteran lawyer, Phoenix Wright, will be forced to do legal battle in the courtrooms of a foreign land, and will likely be put up against a range of wacky characters.
It seems to game will take place in a yet to be named eastern country. A country where the courts have prosecutors, but no defense attorneys.
All of this information comes from an interview with the developers in Weekly Famitsu.
A series of images and screenshots have also been released for the upcoming game, teasing updated character designs, environments and gameplay.

The very first Ace Attorney title was released on the original Nintendo DS way back in 2005.
It has inspired a number of sequels and spin-off titles, including an excellent crossover with the Professor Layton franchise.
We can assume that Ace Attorney 6 will coming to the Nintendo 3DS, however no specific release window has been mentioned.
