Brighton vs Liverpool match preview

Since the restart, Brighton have two wins, one draw and just one loss, which came against in-form Manchester United. It’s impressive form from the Seagulls.

Fans of the Premier League were astounded to see Liverpool take a 4-0 hammering from Manchester City recently, but otherwise the reds still look in imperious form. Klopp’s men handed defeats to Palace and Villa, as well as picking up a point in the Merseyside derby.

Liverpool are firm favourites tonight, despite the fact that they have little to play for, having already claimed the league title.

Brighton are nine points clear of the drop zone and will be feeling relatively secure, given the poor form of some of the teams below them. However, if they could pick up a point this evening they would hit the 40 point mark – traditionally seen as the amount of points needed for Premier League safety.

Will Brighton be able to pick up a point, or even three, and ensure their place in the league next season? Or will Liverpool run riot? All the action will be live on Sky Sports this evening.
