This Xerox looks identical to the Konica Minolta Magicolor1690 except for the color

The data from what I see is also the same.

Over the last few years it seems like the so-called “competition” between companies trying to get the best product out there is becoming less and less a reality. As they all seem to be using either parts from other companies; for example some HP fusers I believe are made by Canon, or complete products just renamed like the Kyocera FS-C1128 is made by Ricoh; Simon you even said that Under the skin of the AcuLaser M2000DN looks suspiciously like the Kyocera Mita FS-1350DN.

The Epson M4000n looks just like the Konica Minolta pagepro4650. I could go on and on and on but I wont.

Maybe they should just get it over with and merge into 4 or 5 very big companies. That way we will at least know who to complain to as if it would make any difference.
