Subjectively the ViewBook performs okay, but in our tests it is let down by the relatively meagre amount of RAM and lack of a 64-bit OS.

hmm probably the most expensive laptop of this type money can buy,with the features of most of the cheapest,cant see them selling many.

That theft alarm is genius. Thieves don't have enough time to hang around for your computer to shut down, and will just d/c power, close the screen and take the laptop. Hopefully this alarm works with the screen closed, otherwise very fail.

@Andy can you please take a look at Asus UL30 on Carphonewarehouse and review it for us. This could be the perfect CULV laptop and probably the cheapest. There are also other versions in the UL30 series like UL30A and UL30Vt.
