What is the Nespresso Lattissima EN520 by DeLonghi?
The Nespresso Latissima EN520 is a lifestyle-friendly coffee machine that relies on using Nespresso coffee pods. This is a feature-packed machine that’s remarkably compact given everything it can do.
It also produces some fantastic coffee, including latte-style drinks for those who don’t like their coffee entirely black.
This is a great machine that’s an absolute breeze to use, and will fit into classy kitchens perfectly. You just have to make sure you can live with the fairly high cost of the pods.

What we liked
Making high-quality coffee doesn’t get much simpler than with a Nespresso Lattissima EN520. Its approach to black coffee is much like any other pod-based system – you put the pod in the top slot and you’re good to go – but the milk dispenser makes producing milky drinks far simpler than normal. It heats up and froths the milk too, automatically dripping it into your cup at the right point.
The milk module can easily be removed, letting you store it in the fridge overnight to avoid it turning into cheese.
Official Nespresso blends are of high quality, and a few third-party companies make their own compatible blends too.
As all the grounds stay within the pod, there’s very little upkeep needed – and the pods end up in a bin within the machine.

What we didn’t like
There’s little to dislike about the easy-to-use, Nespresso Lattissima EN520. However, it is a little pricey given it feels like a relatively casual-use machine.
It may not come cheap, but the Nespresso Lattissima EN520 is the perfect match for someone who likes to drink a latte rather than sticking to pure espresso and Americano drinks. It’s compact, it’s simple and it makes great coffee.
