Its National Traffic Control Centre gathers together information on how traffic is flowing on all the roads under its authority. Now the agency has created its own app to allow you to quickly look up traffic conditions on toads you’re about to use. 
When you start up the app it uses your location to give you the traffic news for roads around you covering everything from congestion and accidents, to road closures and restrictions due to road works. The app has recently been updated with a quicker and clearer interface and is a must have for anyone who spends a lot of time on the road. However, it’s worth noting that only English roads are covered, as different agencies look after Scottish and Welsh routes.
