The first trailer for Yakuza 6 has been released, showcasing new gameplay, combat and environments.
Many of us are drowning in Yakuza 5 right now, but Sega has just dropped the very first gameplay trailer for Yakuza 6.
The brief trailer shows everyone’s favourite Yakuza, Kazuma Kiryu, in an all new outfit amongst the city lights of Kamurocho.
He then begins doing what he does best; beating the living hell out of everyone.

This is the first game in the Yakuza franchise coming exclusively to the PS4, and it certainly shows.
Character models and environments appear more detailed and fleshed out than their PS3 siblings, which have been showing their age for sometime now.
Many of the attack animations look familiar, maintaining the brutal style we’ve come to expect.
Beyond that, the trailer provides no clue as to what kind of story or characters we should expect from Yakuza 6.

Kiryu is also seen jumping across the rooftops of Tokyo, signalling the return of the rooftop sections from Yakuza 4.
According to Sega, the project is 60-70 percent complete, with plenty of work still to be done on the game.
A playable demo of Yakuza 6 will be included with copies of Yakuza Kiwami next year when it launches in Japan.
Kiwami is a remake of the very first Yakuza for PS3 and PS4, which also has a new trailer.
