As well as the iOS 10 and watchOS 3 updates, Apple is today rolling out the latest software for the 4th-gen Apple TV set-top box.
Announced at WWDC, tvOS 10 promises to greatly improve Siri functionality with users now able to make more complex, multifaceted requests.
Siri will now be able to handle searches like “Show me boxing movies from the 1980s” or “Find documentaries about architecture.”
The update also enabled deep searching within third-party apps, meaning Apple TV owners can, for example, search for a YouTube channel directly from the home screen.

Aimed at US cable users, it eliminates the need to sign into individual on-demand apps like HBO Go and Showtime, which require the user’s cable login.
As the name suggests, the one-time log-in opens up access to all of those apps, without having to sign-in to them individually.
Elsewhere within the tvOS 10 update, users will get plenty of features from iOS 10.The Home app has arrived, enabling Apple TV owners to control smart home tech light lights and the thermostat directly from the Siri Remote.
Improvements to Photos and Apple Music have also been mirrored across tvOS, while, for you night owls, Dark Mode is also contained within today’s update.
