Toshiba is about to join the 4K revolution, with the manufacturer confirming the Toshiba 9 Series Ultra HD 4K TV release date will be held next week.
Launching in 58-inch, 65-inch and 84-inch form factors, the Toshiba 9 Series 4K TV will go on sale in the coming days, with the next-generation television sets, which feature a resolution four times that of 1080p Full HD, to retail from £2,999.
Although an exact date of arrival has not been stated, Toshiba has announced its 4K TVs will gone on sale during the week beginning September 9.
With Samsung, Sony and LG having all already outed their own 4K television sets, the Toshiba 58L9363DB, Toshiba 65L9363DB and Toshiba 84L9363DB options all further bolster the range of 4K TVs available in the UK.
Set to be made available in a selection of retailers up and down the country, the likes of Selfridges and John Lewis will offer the Toshiba 9 Series 4K TV range alongside a range of more localised sellers.
Aside from the 3840 x 2160 pixel 4K resolution partypiece, the Toshiba 9 Series range all boasts a raft of premium features and components.
Bragging a CEVO 4K processing engine with upscaling abilities to make up for the current lack of 4K content, the Toshiba 4K TVs play host to 800 Active Motion and Resolution processing alongside 2D to 3D conversion options.
Featuring the company’s Toshiba Clould TV services, the 4K TVs all host inbuilt Wi-Fi, with a pair of USB ports, an SD card slot and four HDMI connections included on the rear.
