The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt release date revealed

CD Projekt Red has announced The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt release date as February 24, 2015 for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

One of the first major releases of 2015, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is available to pre-order now.

The pre-order Collector’s Edition offers a figurine of Geralt fighting a griffin, a 200-page art book, steel case and steel Wolf medallion among other goodies.

This Geralt statue is hand-painted and weighs a whopping 2kg, thanks to its 33x24x26cm dimensions. It sounds like a pretty impressive statue, if that’s your bag.

Apparently you’ll also get a beta invite to a virtual board game version called The Witcher: Adventure Game, which will be later released as a physical product.

If you pre-order the digital edition of the game from GOG.com, you’ll be treated to a Witcher comic book from Dark Horse, free wallpapers and a copy of Neverwinter Nights.

Projekt Red also released a brand new gameplay trailer for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt branded with E3 2014.

This new trailer sets up the story of Geralt of Riva, who is tasked with finding an ancient witcheress, while dealing with the eponymous Wild Hunt.

As we mentioned before, the game will launch on February 24 simulataneously on the Xbox One, PC and PS4.
