Star Wars: Uprising is coming to iOS and Android this week, and tells the tale after 1983's Return of the Jedi.
Just ahead of The Force Awakens hitting cinemas later this year, the Star Wars universe is getting bigger with a brand new game arriving on Android and iOS.
Star Wars: Uprising is a brand new mobile game that's due out this Thursday, September 10, and continues the story left off at the end of the 1983 movie, Return of the Jedi.
Strangely enough, despite all the games, books and spin-offs, Star Wars: Uprising is only the second official entity and first videogame to explore the universe post-Jedi.
The first was novel Star Wars: Aftermath, which was released last week.

Star Wars: Uprising is set in the Anoat Sector, the home of Hoth and the Cloud City, which is where most of events in The Empire Strikes Back take place.
In the iOS and Android game you'll be able to explore the Star Wars universe after the death of the Emperor, just as a new villain Adelhard comes into power.
This MMO role-playing title is developed by Kabam, a studio known best for its free-to-play titles such as Marvel: Contest of Champions, Hero Force and Realm of the Mad God.
Uprising is also free-to-play, but you don't need to worry about a barrage of microtransactions. Kabam has said there's no paywalls in sight, with the game monetised through "time and competition".
