EA Games has confirmed Star Wars Battlefront will be shown off at the Star Wars Celebration in April.
We’ll finally be properly shown Star Wars Battlefront in April, EA Games has revealed in a blog post.
Star Wars Battlefront will take centre stage at the Star Wars Celebration, which is being held April 16 – 19 in Anaheim, California.
“We could not think of a better or more appropriate place to debut the game officially for the first time than the premier event that celebrates the Star Wars universe and the legions of fans who have fallen in love with it,” explained EA Games in a blog post.
Star Wars Battlefront was announced at E3 2013, and at last year’s conference DICE promised we would see the game debuted in “Spring 2015”.

Well at last we know when we’ll see the game in all its glory and we don’t actually have that much longer to wait.
Star Wars Battlefront is in development at DICE, a studio made up of Battlefield veterans and the team behind Mirror’s Edge for example.
DICE and EA Games have previously revealed that the Battlefront title is due out “holiday 2015”.
And just to tease us even further, EA Games has said that it will “have more information in the coming weeks.”
“We have a lot of exciting news to share with you about all the EA Star Wars game we are working on in partnership with Lucasfilm.”
Disney acquired George Lucas’ business empire back in October 2012. It was then in May 2013 when Disney and EA announced an exclusive deal for rights to certain Star Wards games. These titles are to be developed by BioWare, Visceral Games and DICE.
