Seemingly confirming recent rumours, latest reports have suggested Samsung’s head of mobile President JK Shin has confirmed the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be officially unveiled at MWC 2013.

Set to enter the realms of reality at the Barcelona based conference next month, Shin has reportedly revealed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will line up as the Korean company’s latest stylus toting tablet, with an 8-inch form factor putting it between the existing Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1.

Speaking with Korean news site iNews24, Shin is claimed to have announced that “the 8-inch Galaxy Note will be released from MWC.”

Whilst many Samsung and Apple rumours from Chinese and Korean outlets should be taken with a considerable pinch of salt, iNews24 has a strong track record with prematurely outing Samsung Galaxy products, confirming the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini release prior to the handset’s formal unveiling.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Rumours

A recent regular on the tech rumour mill, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has leaked on a number of occasions in past weeks with a claimed Samsung Galaxy Note 8 picture landing alongside a selection of speculative Samsung Galaxy Note 8 specs.

Tipped to sport a zippy 1.6GHz quad-core processor, the mooted Samsung Galaxy Note 8, which also goes by the name of the Samsung GT-N5100, is said to feature an 8-inch display with a 1280 x 800p resolution.
