Samsung Galaxy Note 7 to boast at least 64GB storage?

New rumours suggest that Samsung is planning to up Galaxy Note 7’s base storage to 64GB.

SamMobile sources have served up evidence that hints at the company doubling the amount of built-in storage from 32GB.

The site has obtained an image showing the model listings for the Korean Telecom carrier in Samsung’s homeland.

While this does seem to confirm that Samsung is planning to offer at least 64GB of on-board storage in South Korea, that’s not to say it won’t be different in other territories.

Reports last week suggested that prices for the Galaxy Note 7 will start at €849, which translates into a rather lofty £725 in proper money.

For that price we’d certainly expect Samsung to serve up 64GB to fans of the series.

Potential news of the built-in storage isn’t the only Galaxy Note 7 tidbit we’ve seen today. A new photo has emerged from China purportedly showing the device with a flat screen.

Whether Samsung is working on two variants, one with an Edge-like curved display, remains to be seen.

Other rumours suggest that the long-awaited device will have a retina scanner, USB Type-C connectivity and IP68 water-resistance.
