Here’s how OnePlus is planning to please its former flagship owners

Keen to deliver the best customer satisfaction on the market, OnePlus has altered its production timeline to offer cases and screen protectors for its smartphones up to one year after they’re discontinued.

In a statement issued to Trusted Reviews on Monday, the firm revealed that it will continue to manufacture cases and screen protectors for smartphones up to a year after they’re pulled from the shelves – starting with the beloved OnePlus 5.

“We’ve received feedback from our customers praising the quality and longevity of our products. However, some have been surprised that they cannot buy a new case or screen protector after their phone is no longer on sale,” explained OnePlus.

“So, starting from the OnePlus 5, we want to let you know that we will now continue producing and stocking a range of cases and screen protectors up to one year after a phone goes off-sale,” the award-winning Chinese manufacturer added.

Speaking of the OnePlus 5, the handset was treated to a much-requested update last week, bundling the Face Unlock feature that debuted on the OnePlus 5T, as well as a number of bug fixes, stability improvements and speed optimizations.
