The Olympus OM-D E-M10 is the latest addition to Olympus’ OM-D CSC camera line-up.

Offering a similar design, focusing speed and image quality of the Olympus E-M5 and the power of the Olympus E-M1, the E-M10 is smaller and more affordable than its flagship siblings.

Olympus OM-D E-M10 Features

Featuring a TruePic VII image processor, the OM-D E-M10 offers a 16-megapixel live MOS sensor with Fine Detail Technology II for increased image quality and the ability to shoot full HD movies.

The OM-D E-M10 is also equipped with fast AF with 8fps continuous shooting modes for capturing moving subjects, helped by the camera’s 3-axis image stabilisation to reduce motion blur in stills and video footage.

Housed in an all-metal body, the OM-D E-M10 features a 1,440,000-dot electronic viewfiender with Adaptive Brightness Technology as well as a 3-inch 460k-dot tilting LCD monitor.

The OM-D E-M10 also has built-in Wi-Fi, a pop-up flash and is compatible with all micro four thirds lenses.

There are also 2 HDR modes, interval shooting modes with time-lapse movie capture, a Live Composite Mode for long exposure shot previews and 12 art filters.

Olympus OM-D E-M10 Release Date and Price

The Olympus OM-D E-M10 is available from mid-February for £529.99 body only, in black or silver.

There’s also a kit for £699.99, which comes with an M.Zuiko Digital 14-42mm 1:3.5-5.6 EZ pancake electronic zoom lens.
