Motorola’s next flagship phone has reared its head on more than one occasion already, and now official pictures of the Motorola Moto X have appeared ahead of the device’s August 1 unveiling.

Set to be officially announced in a matter of weeks during a recently confirmed New York based press conference, the Motorola Moto X has now been shown in prematurely revealed official press renders, with both black and white hued handsets outed.

Landing courtesy of repeated tech tipster @evleaks, the new image of the Motorola Moto X follows weeks of leaks and rumours and was accompanied  by the simple message: “Motorola Moto X: First press shots.”

Although showing off the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One rival in all its glory, the newly outed Motorola Moto X pictures offer little new information on the phone which is expected to land with a 1.7GHz dual-core processor and 2GB of RAM in tow.

Motorola Moto X Rumours
Tipped to land running the new Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS which is expected to launch later this month, the Motorola Moto X will see the American manufacturer return to the smartphone scene after almost a year out in the wilderness.

Shown featuring a Kevlar rear similar to the Motorola Razr i, recent Moto X rumours have pointed towards 2GB of RAM making the cut alongside a 10-megapixel rear-mounted camera and a second, 2-megaixel snapper up front.

Rumoured to feature a 720p HD display somewhere between 4.3-inches and 4.7-inches in size, the Motorola Moto X has been tipped to add a 2200mAh Lithium-Ion battery, integrated NFC and 4G connectivity options into the mix.
