Nintendo has agreed a deal to fund development for Beyond Good and Evil 2, making it an NX-exclusive set to launch in 2017.
This is according to Destructoid, who received documentation from a source known for providing reliable information in the past, including the Pokemon Sun and Moon leak and previous Microsoft Illumiroom stories. The previous credibility of this insider seems to add weight to the rumour.
The documents state the game has the working title of Beyond Good and Evil: The Prejudices of Philosophers, alluding to a chapter in Nietzsche's ‘Beyond Good and Evil’ on how morality can be skewed by authority.

Destructoid goes on to suggest that this deal is similar to that of Bayonetta 2, which Nintendo also helped fund and release as a Wii U-exclusive. By funding a long-standing, fan-enamoured title, Nintendo may hope to gain some goodwill from gamers and improve hardware sales of its new console.
While this information has not been confirmed by either Nintendo or Ubisoft, take it with a pinch of salt, however the previous reliability of the source means you can take a pretty sizeable pinch.
What do you think? Would Beyond Good and Evil 2 be enough for you to buy an NX? Is this a sign of Nintendo improving its relationship with third-party developers? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
