New Xbox One trailers offer his and hers look at upcoming console

Microsoft has released a pair of new Xbox One trailers, with the funny videos giving a his and hers look at the benefits of the upcoming console.

Following on from the original Xbox One trailer starring the likes of Liverpool footballer Steven Gerard and Heroes and Star Trek star Zachary Quinto, the new console teasers see both the PS4 rivals gaming and entertainment features shown off.

With Microsoft heaping much focus on the Xbox One being a household entertainment device more than just a games console, the new trailers highlight the 360 follow-on’s ability to communicate with your TV to offer live viewing whilst also enjoying games.

Further Xbox One features highlighted in the new trailer include the console’s increased voice command functionality. Made possible by the second-generation Kinect peripheral, the Xbox One voice options allow you to boot-up, start games and switch between features simply by talking to the device.

Following months of teases and a slow drip of new information, the November 22 Xbox One release date is now less than two weeks away. Hitting the US and UK simultaneously, the Xbox One launch will be held one week after the PS4 hits American retailers, but seven days before a UK PS4 release date.
