As confirmed earlier this year, there’s a new Need for Speed reboot coming later this year.
But now we know that Need for Speed will be reborn on November 3.
The game combines the series three key features to create what EA Games’ considers the ultimate driving experience.
As explained during the EA Games E3 press conference, Need for Speed will focus on delivering breakneck speeds in your fully customisable vehicles, while painting high end visuals.
And from the pre-alpha footage shown during the conference, that’s certainly true. It looks to offer the best graphics we’ve seen in a racing game - sorry Forza Horizon 2.
Of course, Need for Speed wouldn’t be complete without that outlaw element. So prepare yourself to be constantly chased by the cops.
All of this apparently combines to create “the ultimate Need for Speed moments”.

You’ll need to work to earn respect and rise through the ranks in Need for Speed, just as you have in previous series’ entries.
It looks like you’ll have a crew behind you to help you through those tricky patches and start getting yourself noticed.
Need for Speed will launch on Xbox One, PS4 and PC when it arrives in November.
