Two new Nexus devices have been rumoured to be in the works for a while, but the specs have remained a mystery, until now.

Specs for both the LG Nexus 5 and the Huawei Nexus 6 – neither of which have been officially confirmed – have been leaked.

A report by GizmoChina purports to have obtained information about the much-rumoured handsets ahead of their expected autumn launch.

The Nexus 5 leak is fairly expansive, so here’s the full run-down of claimed specs:

  • 5.2-inch display
  • Full HD 1080p screen resolution
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 (MSM8976) processor
  • 4GB LPDDR3-1866 RAM
  • Up to 64GB eMMC 5.1 built-in storage
  • 3,180mAh battery (non-removable)

  • USB-C connector (with QuickCharge 2.0)
  • MediaTek MT3188 wireless charging receiver

A Snapdragon 620 with 4 GB of RAM? A Snapdragon 620 is perfectly fine, 6xx series chips usually offer good, solid performance, but 4 GB of RAM seems way overkill.

The comments on the GizmoChina article don't seem to put too much credence in to these, but then they are commenters like us, what do we know bar what we read?!

From what I have read, the 620 is better than the 810 on CPU speed but weaker when it comes to graphics...which is a little annoying!

@TR Eds - any info on that?
