Lenovo has announced a range of new PCs during its IFA 2013 press conference, with the Lenovo Flex 14 and 15 laptops landing alongside Lenovo Flex 20 all-in-one.
Dubbed the ‘Flex’ on the back of their rotatable displays, the Lenovo Flex 14 and Flex 15 see their screens able to travel through a full 300 degrees of motion. The Lenovo Flex 20 on the other hand can be angled from upright to near flat.
Lenovo Flex 14 and Flex 15 Features
A pair of laptops that will line alongside the company’s own Yoga range of convertibles, the Lenovo Flex 14 and Lenovo Flex 15 feature, as you might expect, 14-inch and 15-inch displays.
While the Lenovo Flex 14 is limited to a 1366 x 768 pixel display, its big brother makes the jump to a visually strong 1920 x 1080p Full HD offering.
Both models will head to market with the same Intel Core i7 CPUs and 8GB of RAM. There are a selection of storage options for both models with the Flex 14 able to support a 500GB HDD while the Flex 15 can double this with a 1TB hard drive.
Both the Lenovo Flex 14 and Lenovo Flex 15 will hit launch markets this month with prices starting from $630 (£403). UK pricing and availability is still to be confirmed.
Lenovo Flex 20 Features
A relatively impressive all-in-one, the Lenovo Flex 20 specs sheet sees a fourth-generation Intel Core i7 processor line up alongside Microsoft’s now familiar Windows 8 operating system.
Contrary to what its name might suggest, the Lenovo Flex 20 actually boasts a 19.5-inch display, with the HD panel rocking a 1600 x 900 pixel resolution and 10-point multitouch capabilities. It features a multimedia friendly 16:9 aspect ratio.
With an array of spec options seeing the Flex 20 boast up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM and the option of a 500GB HDD or similarly sized SSHD, integrated speakers feature alongside a pair of USB 3.0 ports, integrated Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a 720p HD inbuilt camera.
Lining up at 20.5mm thick and 3.5kg in weight, the Lenovo Flex 20 is said to support a 3 hour battery life for if you want your all-in-on on the go.
Although UK pricing is currently unclear, the Lenovo Flex will launch in the US later this month with a $900 (£576).
