Just Cause 3

A set of Just Cause 3 screenshots have been leaked online, showing off some explosive action.

Although, Square Enix hasn’t officially release this collection of Just Cause 3 screenshots, it hasn’t stopped them from being leaked online.

The collection of screenshots appeared on NeoGaf and reveal some of the gameplay features coming with the game later this year.

You’ll spot a touch of plane rodeo, including a point where protagonist Rico Rodriguez is seen pulling a pilot out of his plane mid-flight over the ocean.

There’s also a shot of Rodriguez free-falling from a plane he no doubt exploded just moments before.

It looks like Just Cause 3 will also introduce a wing suit as a new form of transport – a la Far Cry 4.

We also like the idea of dragging some flammable barrels behind our new set of wheels for some flaming mayhem.

There’s also a hint that Hungary will play some role in the game, thanks to the Hungarian flag you can see on a plane tail.

Just Cause 3 is coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC later this year, but we don’t know much about the open world adventure title so far.

It will be based in a fictional Mediterranean archipelago and you’ll be tasked with overthrowing a brand new and tyrannical leader.

We’ll keep you posted if we heard any more official, or unofficial, news about Just Cause 3.

They probably make the most colouful open world games. However there is little cohesion to pull it all together. The previous two games were really just sand boxes to fool around in. Although, I really hope they deliver a better actual game this time.

That's not meant to be the Hungarian flag. This one has 3 gold stars on it and represents the fictional Republic of Medici as this wiki attests: http://justcause.wikia.com/wik...

I loved playing JC2, it truly was epic; as MB says, a big open world to fool about in. It had loads of stupidly simple and enjoyable gameplay to indulge in once you'd finished the main quest-line which was just dumb and completely stereotypical.

It was kind of refreshing to play too as it was simply about enjoyment with little thought given to more cerebral considerations of scientific or sociological plausibility etc. Just rampaging around blowing stuff up in a true physics-defying spectacle with no nasty commonsense limitations imposed.

The one thing that I hope is improved over JC2 is the near-non-existent AI for the NPCs. The inhabitants of Panua were just a little too brainless to offer up a challenge or ground the player in a slightly more credible locale (despite the naff storyline).

Hopefully JC3 will prove to be a good 'un like its predecessor. Fun!
