Rockstar Games has re-released Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas in 720p HD for the Xbox 360.

To celebrate the ten-year anniversary of GTA: San Andreas, Rockstar has released a revamped version of the game for the Xbox 360 in 720p HD.

The new version of the game is available through Games on Demand and costs £2.99 to buy outright.

Rockstar has kitted it out with enhanced draw distance and achievement support, along with the improved 720p resolution.

The Xbox Originals version of San Andreas has therefore been removed from Xbox Live, and won’t be returning.

Sadly, gamers who invested time in the Xbox Originals version will not be able to transfer their saves to the Games on Demand edition.

Instead, owners of the Xbox Originals version will still be able to access their old version through their download history, with the option to purchase the new version with the added new features.
