For Fox Sake! £10,000 Lego Zootopia figure swiftly destroyed by child

Beleaguered parents will often tell you, you can’t have anything nice around kids.

Well that old adage bore true for the creator of an intricate life-size Lego sculpture of the character Nick from the hit movie Zootopia

No more than an hour after his £10,000 brick-by-brick creation went on show at the LEGO Expo in Ningbo, China, it was sent crashing to the ground by a 5-year-old.

The heartbroken artist Mr. Zhao, who spent three days lovingly piecing Nick together, was so nice he even refused compensation from the parents of the scamp in question.

“The child did not intend to break it,” he graciously said, according to local media.

Reports he defeatedly added: “Well that’s why we can’t have nice things,” remain unconfirmed.

You can see the results of the tragic incident below.
