Finlux has launched the Finlux 55S9100-T, its biggest 3D Smart TV to date, with a slim 55-inch LED screen and Freeview HD built-in.
Offering full Smart TV features, including catch-up TV and social media access via the included Wi-Fi dongle, the Finlux 55S9100-T is the Finnish TV manufacturer’s new flagship model.
“Our flagship product comes with all the bells and whistles,” said Andreas Adamides, Head of Finlux UK. “Half the price of rival products but offering the same quality build and functionality, it provides a range of additional features and items at no extra cost. It’s highly competitive price means that many more people in the UK can take their TV and gaming experience to a whole new level.”
Finlux 55S9100-T Features
Boasting a 55-inch LED screen, the Finlux 55S9100-T offers a slim design with a thin bezel less than 1cm wide. The black TV has a chrome exterior and offers a 100Hz motion rate suitable for avid sports fans, film buffs or gamers.
The Finlux 55S9100-T features 3D technology that the Finnish TV company claims will provide a “clear, vibrant, life-like picture quality” akin to the top models from other leading TV manufacturers. Finlux also kindly bundles in eight pairs of 3D glasses so that users can immediately enjoy the 3D experience with family and friends.
Freeview HD is built into the 3D TV, offering HD channels from the likes of BBC and ITV as well as regular SD Freeview. Access to a full range of Smart TV features like catch-up TV from BBC iPlayer or internet sites such as YouTube or Facebook.
An in-built PVR functions offers users the ability to pause, rewind and record TV via the Freeview TV guide and store their chosen programs on any USB flash drive or hard drive.
Anyone wielding an iOS device can also control the Finlux 55S910-T using an app. Four HDMI ports are also offered for set-top box connectivity as well as gaming consoles.
Finlux 55S9100-T Release Date and Price
At present, Finlux has yet to release any availability information. What we do know is that the Finlux 55S9100-T will be released in 47-inch and 42-inch models alongside the main 55-inch versions, but will offer all the same features and functionality as the largest screen size. The 55-inch model will be available for a £1,299 price tag.
