‘Yo, I don’t hate Apple’, says Elon Musk

Elon Musk

Elon Musk has taken to Twitter to clear up confusion over apparently negative comments he made about Apple recently.

The Tesla CEO and SpaceX founder hit headlines yesterday after making light of potential competition from Apple in the car market.

Late last night however, Musk tweeted the following:

He posted up a follow-up tweet eight minutes later:

Musk’s initial comments were made to a German publication, in response to being asked whether Tesla was worried about Apple’s recent hiring of important Tesla engineers.

“Important engineers? They have hired people we’ve fired,” the Tesla boss said. “We always jokingly call Apple the ‘Tesla Graveyard’. If you don’t make it at Tesla, you go work at Apple. I’m not kidding.”

The interviewer then asked Musk whether he was taking Apple’s alleged car ambitions seriously, to which he replied:

“Did you ever take a look at the Apple Watch? [laughs] No, seriously: It’s good that Apple is moving and investing in this direction.”

He added that “cars are very complex compared to phones or smartwatches”, that “the car is the next logical thing [for Apple]”, and that “a new pencil or a bigger iPad alone were not relevant enough”.

Lol: "I'm glad they're doing an EV". This is completely unannounced as far as Apple is concerned. Is Elon trying to scupper Apple's big reveal? Or is he just fishing? Apple may have just poached / hired a few ex-Tesla engineers based on battery expertise, rather than automotive.

Just goes to show you can't ever just come out and say the truth. If it concern's Saint Steve Jobs's now deceased...... former iCon Artistry (Home of RDF FUD and Misinformation about any of their competitors), openly in public. If the reporter interviewing you is also a confirmed iBrainwashed pedestrian Prole, asking questions to get your goat up.

Because the iThought Police (who are everywhere these days) will come out of the woodwork.... wearing their Hoods and iWhite Robes claiming you're Hitler and Apple is Holier Than Thou! lol....

Amazing how the Cult of the Bitten Apple Logo Clan Religion, get so up tight if absolutely anything negative..... or even imagined negative, is ever said about their Dearly Beloved Saint Steve Jobs or their Holier Than Thou Apple is God Religion!

Even Elon Musk..... who obviously knows what he's talking about in the EV industry, attempts to sooth the iBEAST within all MANKIND online. They just all take it so wrong and want to go for his throat. Yet... when he comes back with even more flippant remarks, they take it as an apology??? People he's not apologizing..... lol.... These flippant remark about Jony Ive watch looking nice, but not being functional till version 3 are just another deeper cut on Apple's ability to make a relevant Smartwatch!!! lol.....

AND he's right who cares if Apple gets into the Electric Car business, after you see iTunes Radio fall on it's arsss and iCloud Evaporate or Apple go from 20 Million Gold Edition watches that will supposedly use all the gold on earth up, to 1000's of Sport Editions sold a day instead??? But.... I hear he's going into Smartwatch Making as a hobby!!! xD

Well... actually just something so his twins Griffin and Xavier have something to do in his Ad Astra School for Gifted Children in So Cal..... ya know.... to stay busy. Apparently he says, you don't have to be too smart or have any experience to make smartwatches (like Electric Cars.... lol) successfully like Apple. But if your dad is Elon Musk and already successful in EV's.... his and at 9yrs old his twin could probably do a better Watch than Apple!!! :D

Read between the lines: I would be utterly amazed if Musk's tweets are not the result of a legal threat from Apple.
