Destiny Reef social hub coming with House of Wolves expansion?

Destiny could gain a brand new social hub in its upcoming House of Wolves expansion, according to a new leak.

A set of leaked screenshots has teased a brand new social area coming to Destiny in the near future.

The new hub will supposedly be set in the Reef location, and will act as another area in which players can gather.

Reddit user megamanexe4 sourced the images, including the map setting for the location you can see above, and posted them to the site.

This is the same user that posted the earlier details of the House of Wolves weapons and missions at the start of the month.

Megamanexe4 managed to select the Reef location from the Destiny launcher in his game.

This isn’t the first instance we’ve seen a non-combat area of the Reef teased. Back in February 2013, Bungie showed a brief shot of some footage during a developer diary. But, that area didn’t appear in the final game and has never been spoken of since.

House of Wolves is expected to focus on the Reef location and The Queen, its ruler. We are expecting to see a Raid appear in this new location, and will be the first time we’ve actually been able to explore the remote area outside of cutscenes.

As you can see below, there should also be a new level 28 Strike is called Belly of Beast, which will be set on the Moon.

“A Fallen Wolfship holding an infamous Walker has touched down in the Ocean of Storms. Breach the Ketch and see to this Walker’s end”, reads the description.

You’re also looking at a new level 30 quest entitled Nightcrawler, which is also set on the Moon.

There is no confirmed Destiny House of Wolves release date, but a previous leak suggested we could expect to see it launch on May 19 – two months after Bungie originally planned to release the second expansion pack for the game.
