Asus has taken the wraps off its latest phone, revealing the Asus Zenfone Selfie as a dual 13mp camera-equipped Android blower.
Like the HTC Desire Eye, the ZenFone Selfie features a 13mp camera on both the front and the rear, and perhaps more importantly both have flashes too, for the ultimate in capturing gloomy nightclub shenanigans.
Both flashes are also dual-tone so the washed-out images you normally associate with camera flashes shouldn’t be a problem, whichever camer you use.
Further helping is a relatively quick f2.0 lens on the rear camera and a slightly slower f2.2 lens on the front camera. The rear one also gets laser focus though this is dropped for the front-facing one.

There will also be an optional swing camera attachment that can effectively extend your arm or act as a stand.
Elsewhere, the phone is very similar to the ZenFone 2, with 5.5in 1080p LCD screen and Snapdrgon 615 processor. This lot is wrapped in a brushed metal back with rear-mounted controls too, just like on the LG G3.
The Asus Zenfone Selfi release date is expected to be imminent. We’ll be sure to find out more as soon as we can.
