HTC claims that the Smart is a budget smartphone and in many ways it's right. With a decent web browser, email support, and social networking support it certainly does more than your most basic of phones. However, with no app store to hand and a few basics like a maps application missing, it's certainly not the smartest of phones. Nevertheless, Brew - its simple operating system - makes it a pleasure to use and its build quality puts it a step above most in its price bracket.
