The level of fine detail in this shot is fantastic, one of the best I've seen from any compact.





The big 10x zoom lens produces surprisingly little wide-angle barrel distortion.





Centre sharpness is very good.





There is a little chromatic aberration in the corners of the frame, but sharpness is still pretty good.

Does anyone have any comments on the canon powershot sx110 is vs. the fujifilm finepix s1500?

I have read elsewhere that this camera has rather heavy battery usage - anuyone have any comments ?

I have had this camera for 3 weeks now and I really enjoy taking photos with it.
I have mainly used it outdoors in good lighting so I can say the battrey life is great. Just... more

Thanks, that was my only concern. Sadly I've missed the cashback offer but financial constraints are in place until payday.
