The Naite J105 proclaims to be an environmentally friendly phone and we can appreciate the efforts Sony Ericsson has made by using recycled plastic and water-based paints. However, there's no getting round the fact that a second-hand phone will probably be of greater benefit to the environment. I think the point made about re-using a phone is more valid than better production methods. Phone manufacture is still very costly in terms of the environment. This 12-18 monthly upgrading cycle that us punters are accustomed to expect is very wasteful. Reduce and reuse come before recycle. Think about how much you need (not want) to change before you upgrade your tech stuff guys.
