Although the fine detail is there it's ruined by poor dynamic range and massive over-sharpening.

----

/94/c33b94/d9c5/12221-casioex33distort.jpg

The lens suffers from major barrel distortion at wide angle.

----

/94/dc57d6/8191/12221-casioex33distortcrop1.jpg

Centre sharpness isn't too bad, but again the poor image processing is evident.

----

Corner sharpness is also not too terrible, but chromatic aberration is plainly visible.

----

/94/18d91b/8565/12221-casioex33contrast.jpg

Dynamic range is very limited, with virtually no shadow detail. The Z33 has no contrast boosting technology.
